Hot School Lunches
Hot school meals are available to all pupils: from September 2014 all children in KS1 (Reception, year 1 and Year 2) will be eligible for free hot lunches through the Universal Free School Meals scheme (UFSM).
If you are in receipt of certain benefits you could be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) which will enable your child to have free meals (regardless of their age). By confirming your eligibility for FSM the school will receive additional funding each year, currently £1,300 per annum, which will be used to support learning and also cover the annual cost your child’s school trips.
For more information on applying for Free School Meals or if you would like to find out more about the Universal Free School Meals for KS1 please contact Jo or Ellie in the school office.
For more information about the hot lunches including the latest menu and details on how to book please visit the Chartwells website: www.mealselector.co.uk.
FSM and UFSM do NOT need to be booked with Chartwells however you do need to tell the school which meals your child will be eating in order that we are not charged for meals that are not required.
CURRENT MENU. A new menu will start Monday 16th April 2018
Packed lunches are eaten in the school hall and, when warm enough, outside during the summer months.
