There are lots of opportunities to volunteer with us - and your help really does make a difference to the opportunities we can provide for our pupils.
There are opportunities suit most diaries and interests - from reading with the children, to sewing and cooking or helping on sports days and trips. You can find out more about volunteering by speaking to your child's class teacher or contacting our School Office.
Storrington Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be required for all regular volunteers and you will be asked to undertake safeguarding training with our Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
All staff and volunteers must comply with guidance contained our Volunteers Policy and Agreement as well as in the document WSCC Guidance On Safer Working Practice and the Keeping Children Safe in Education September 2018. This information will be provided to all staff and volunteers on their first day.
