Last week on Friday the 15th October Year 6 had a bake sale to raise money for St Bernardo’s Children's Charity. The year 6s had to bake some treats and bring them in on Friday. It was held after school from 3:10-3:30, where the year 6s sold their treats for themselves. In total they raised a massive £266 which means that the total amount of treats sold was 532 treats! A lot of people bought treats including 5 from me. Bernardo’s Charity even sent a thank you email to the teachers saying thank you from all the money they raised.

Year 6 had an action packed week during their residential trip to the Isle of Wight. It was a huge success and we couldn’t feel prouder of our children. They tackled challenges in the air, on the sea and on the ground with enthusiasm, confidence and grace. You can see photos from the trip on our Gallery page here.
The children have enjoyed Wheels to School and using the new bicycle track. The children were so sensible and we look forward to repeating this over the term.
Year 4 had a brilliant trip to Fishbourne Roman palace and came back buzzing with lots of newly learnt knowledge and facts.
